Chism Trail Ranch also provides private or group lessons by appointment. Our knowledgeable staff can offer you a personalized lesson for your riding goals and skill level. We take any level of rider 6 years and older.
Our instructors have years of experience with horses in natural horsemanship as well as top levels of barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, team sorting cattle, working cow horse, reining, goat tying and showmanship.
We have had a variety of experiences in many equine fields including: traveling and competing in High School Rodeo, College Rodeo and College assistant Rodeo coach. Many events have been at a National levels including; barrel racing, team roping, break-away roping, team sorting and others.
Our instructors also have a background working with people in many different disciplines including; certification in therapeutic riding,
years of working and teaching children of all ages and skill levels and teaching wellness classes to all ages.

Rate: Private lesson per hour= $45 + tax. More than 1 person semi-private group lesson for 1 hour= $45 per person+tax Thank you
Our groups are small so we can spend more time with each one of our clients. Lessons welcome children and adults ages 6 and up. Instructors for any level of riding from beginner, intermediate to advanced riders. Our Lessons are based on the individual needs of the clients and their horse. Here at the Ranch you will learn Natural horsemanship riding.
No more pulling on the horse’s mouth and yanking them here and there. We teach you the proper seat and leg cues, which helps you stay properly in the saddle and have more control. You will feel more comfortable and so will your horse. The more you know the safer and more comfortable you are.
This opportunity allows you to ride once a week on our ranch horses with others, while having fun and learning new skills that will take you to the next level.
You will be taught safety and responsibility for your horse on grooming, bathing, feeding, saddling, riding, etc along with being in the saddle six hours a day!
Ages vary from 7 and up. Level of riding skills also varies from beginner, intermediate, or advanced riders. Our camps are small so we can spend more time with each one of our campers. (Camp size is 10-15 campers)

Overnight Camps are Sunday 7 pm - Thursday 5:30 pm. cost is $675
